HELLO 2008!!!

it's about time for a fresh start, i think. and maybe this year i'll actually keep my resolutions. i don't think i ever really have. or i started to, stuck to them for a month or so, then said 'screw it, this is too hard.' i think that'll be one of my new resolutions. to stop giving up so easily.

so here's what they are.
1 stop procrastinating
- i'm such an awful procrastinator. or a really good one depending on how you look at it. hahaha. but yeah. i really need to stop. i've put off so many papers, essays, homework assignments, chores, responsibilities. . . bottom line is, i need to stop.
2 eat healthier + exercise more
- i started eating better over the summer, but completely abandoned that once school started. i think i gained at least five pounds in two months. that's not really all that much, but i'm a pretty small person (height-wise) and my already wide hips just keep expanding. i know i could look better.
3 be smart but still have fun
- basically i want to have a good time. i'm young. i deserve to be wild and crazy. but lately i've been realizing that you still have to keep your head in place. losing yourself completely is dangerous. it's not that i've done anything terribly risky recently, it's just that i've seen what bad decisions can do and i've made a few myself. i want to avoid them as best i can.

ta da!
now i just have to keep them.
so far i'm doing a pretty good job, hahaha.
